You can manage your Webafrica account notification preferences from your Customer Zone. These settings help Webafrica know how to contact you about your account, services, support updates, and outage notifications.
How to update your notification settings
- Log in to your Webafrica Customer Zone.
- Select My Account from the left-hand menu.
- Click User Profiles.
- Find the user profile you want to update.
- Click the arrow on the right to expand the profile.
- Click Edit Details.
- Open the Notifications section.
- Update your notification preferences.
- Click Save.
Notification options
You can choose how Webafrica may contact you.
The available notification options may include:
- SMS
- Call
Tick the options you want to allow, or untick the options you do not want to use.
Service notifications
You can also manage Service Notifications from the Notifications section.
This includes whether you want to receive SMS outage notifications.
The available SMS outage notification options may include:
- No
- Yes – Incl Restricted hours
- Yes – Excl Restricted hours
Restricted hours are between 22:00 and 07:00.
What the SMS outage options mean
No
You will not receive SMS outage notifications.
Yes – Incl Restricted hours
You may receive SMS outage notifications at any time, including between 22:00 and 07:00.
Yes – Excl Restricted hours
You may receive SMS outage notifications, but not during restricted hours between 22:00 and 07:00.
Keep your contact details updated
Your notification settings work together with the contact details saved on your user profile.
To check or update your contact details:
- Go to My Account.
- Click User Profiles.
- Open the relevant user profile.
- Click Edit Details.
- Open Contact Details.
- Check that your mobile number, email address, home number, or work number is correct.
- Click Save if you make any changes.

Please keep your contact details and notification preferences up to date. Webafrica may use these details to send important account, billing, support, service, and outage notifications.
If you are not receiving notifications, check that your contact details are correct and that your preferred notification options are selected.
