We’re updating how we collect payments. From the end of November 2025, all automated debit orders and card payments that previously ran on the 1st of the month will be moved to the last working day of each month.
- Debit order and card payments will now run on the last working day of each month.
- Example: If your debit order is set for 1 December, it will now be processed on 28 November.
- If the last working day doesn’t suit you, you can change your collection date in your Customer Zone. Remember to make changes at least 4 business days before the scheduled debit order.
- Prefer paying yourself? Use the Pay Now option in your Customer Zone.
- To avoid duplicate payments, make any manual payment at least 3 working days before your scheduled debit order date.
Available Debit Order Dates
You can choose between:
- 1st day of the month
- Last working day of the month
What is the “last working day”?
The final weekday (Monday to Friday) of the month that is not a South African public holiday.
How to Change Your Collection Date
- Log in to your Customer Zone.
- Go to My Billing.
- Select Update Details
- Under Collection Date drop down, choose either the 1st or the last working day.
💡 Tip: Pick the date closest to when your salary is paid.
Manual or Once-off Payments
If you’d rather make payments yourself, you can do so in your Customer Zone:
- Log in to your Customer Zone.
- Select Pay Now

Important: If you make a manual payment, do it at least 3 days before your debit order date. This avoids duplicate payments.
