You can update some of your personal details from your Webafrica Customer Zone.
Some details are updated from Account Details, while other profile-specific settings, such as your OTP number, password, contact details, and notification preferences, are managed from User Profiles.
Update your account details
- Log in to your Webafrica Customer Zone.
- Select My Account from the left-hand menu.
- Click Account Details.
- Review your account information.
- Update the details you want to change.
Only the editable fields can be changed by you. Some fields are shown for reference only and cannot be updated from this page.
- Once you have updated your details, click Update Customer Data.
- A confirmation message will appear: Account update successful.
- Click Close to exit the confirmation message.
Details you can update under Account Details
You can update the available editable fields, which include:
- Mobile number
- Home number
- Work number
- Physical address
- Postal address
Important note about your OTP number
Your OTP Number is displayed under Account Details, but it cannot be edited from that page.
To change your OTP number, you need to go to User Profiles.
Update your OTP number
- Select My Account from the left-hand menu.
- Click User Profiles.
- Find the relevant user profile.
- Click the arrow on the right to expand the profile.
- Click Change OTP Number.
- Enter the new mobile number.
- Click Request OTP.
- Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number.
- Click Verify OTP.
- Once complete, you will see a confirmation message: OTP Number Successfully Updated.
Edit a user profile
You can also update some user profile details from the User Profiles page.
- Select My Account from the left-hand menu.
- Click User Profiles.
- Open the relevant user profile by clicking the arrow on the right.
- Click Edit Details.
- Open the section you want to update.
The available sections include:
- Personal Details
- Contact Details
- Notifications
Update user profile contact details
Under Contact Details, you can update:
- Work number
- Home number
- Mobile number
- Email address
After making your changes, click Save.
Update notification preferences
Under Notifications, you can choose how Webafrica may contact you.
You can update your preferences for:
- SMS
- Call
You can also manage Service Notifications, including whether SMS outage notifications are allowed.
The available SMS outage notification options include:
- No
- Yes – Incl Restricted hours
- Yes – Excl Restricted hours
Restricted hours are between 22:00 and 07:00.
After updating your notification preferences, click Save.
Change your user profile password
You can also change the password for a user profile.
- Go to My Account.
- Click User Profiles.
- Open the relevant user profile.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter the new password.
- Confirm the new password.
- Click Save.
Important to know
Please make sure your contact details are correct. Webafrica may use these details for OTPs, billing updates, support updates, service notifications, outage notifications, and other important account messages.
