You can manage your Webafrica account notification preferences from your Customer Zone. These settings help Webafrica know how to contact you about your account, services, support updates, and outage notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to update your notification settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to your Webafrica Customer Zone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select My Account<\/strong> from the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click User Profiles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Find the user profile you want to update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Click the arrow on the right to expand the profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click Edit Details<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Open the Notifications<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Update your notification preferences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Notification options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can choose how Webafrica may contact you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The available notification options may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Email<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • SMS<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Call<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • WhatsApp<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Tick the options you want to allow, or untick the options you do not want to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Service notifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      You can also manage Service Notifications<\/strong> from the Notifications section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This includes whether you want to receive SMS outage notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The available SMS outage notification options may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • No<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Yes – Incl Restricted hours<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Yes – Excl Restricted hours<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Restricted hours are between 22:00 and 07:00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        What the SMS outage options mean<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        No<\/strong>
        You will not receive SMS outage notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Yes – Incl Restricted hours<\/strong>
        You may receive SMS outage notifications at any time, including between 22:00 and 07:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Yes – Excl Restricted hours<\/strong>
        You may receive SMS outage notifications, but not during restricted hours between 22:00 and 07:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Keep your contact details updated<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Your notification settings work together with the contact details saved on your user profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        To check or update your contact details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Go to My Account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Click User Profiles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Open the relevant user profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Click Edit Details<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Open Contact Details<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. Check that your mobile number, email address, home number, or work number is correct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. Click Save<\/strong> if you make any changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Important to know<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Please keep your contact details and notification preferences up to date. Webafrica may use these details to send important account, billing, support, service, and outage notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
