class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Does Changing Technology Mean?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Changing technology means switching from one type of internet connection to another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ADSL to Fibre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ADSL to Fixed LTE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fibre to Fixed LTE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed LTE to Fibre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed LTE to 5G<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The available options depend on what services are available at your address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before You Start<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before changing your service, keep the following in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Availability depends on your address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fibre availability depends on the Fibre Network Operator, also known as the FNO, in your area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed LTE and 5G availability depend on network coverage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your current service may need to be cancelled as part of the change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may need different equipment for the new service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Package prices, speeds, and deals may change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not cancel your current service too early, as this may leave you without internet while the new service is being installed or activated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Change or Upgrade Your Internet Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Log Into Your Customer Zone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Log into your Webafrica Customer Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Go to Your Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Select <strong>My Services<\/strong> and then choose the service you want to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Check the Available Options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Customer Zone will show the internet options available for the address linked to your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the address is incorrect, update the address during the process so that the correct options can be checked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Choose Your New Service<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the new service or package you want to move to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may see options such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fibre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed LTE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5G<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The options shown will depend on availability at your address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5: Confirm Which Service You Are Replacing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You may be asked to confirm which existing Webafrica service the new service will replace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This helps us avoid duplicate services and unnecessary double billing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6: Confirm Your Address and Details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Check that your address and order details are correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once everything looks right, submit your request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Happens After I Submit the Request?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your request is submitted, Webafrica will process the order and confirm the next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the service you choose, this may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Checking availability at your address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirming the package you selected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arranging Fibre installation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activating an existing Fibre line<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sending or confirming the correct router or device<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancelling or replacing your old service where required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changing to Fibre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are changing to Fibre, the process depends on whether Fibre is already installed at your address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If Fibre Is Already Installed<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the Fibre line is already installed, Webafrica may be able to activate the line once it is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the line is still active with another ISP, the previous ISP must cancel and release the line first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If Fibre Is Not Installed Yet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fibre Network Operator will need to arrange the physical installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Installation times can differ depending on the FNO, property access, area, and appointment availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changing to Fixed LTE or 5G<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fixed LTE and 5G use wireless network coverage instead of a Fibre line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This may be a good option if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fibre is not available at your address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You need a wireless home internet option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You want a quicker setup option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are moving away from ADSL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Coverage and performance may vary depending on your location and signal quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will I Need New Equipment?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Possibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Different services use different equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Happens to My Old Service?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your old service may be replaced or cancelled as part of the change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exact process depends on the type of service you currently have and the service you are moving to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before cancelling anything yourself, make sure your new service is ordered and that you understand the activation timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I Upgrade My Speed Without Changing Technology?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you already have Fibre and only want a faster or slower package, you may be able to change your package without changing the actual connection type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, moving from a lower Fibre speed to a higher Fibre
