If you have been affected by load shedding, please read this carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once power returns, it can take&nbsp;<strong>up to 2 hours<\/strong>&nbsp;for the network to normalize and your connectivity to be restored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may experience any of the following issues due to load shedding, even after your electricity has been restored:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No power to Fibre ONT device \/ Red lights on the Fibre ONT box<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This can take an additional hour or two to be fully restored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is because every connected home in your area is trying to reconnect at the same time \u2013 which causes a bottleneck effect on the local networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The orange\/red light on your router<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means the router was&nbsp;<strong>reset<\/strong>&nbsp;and will need to be reconfigured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please contact our technical support team on&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/api.whatsapp.com\/send?phone=27214649500&amp;text=Hi%20-%20Please%20can%20you%20assist%20me%3f&amp;source=&amp;data=\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WhatsApp&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong>as we will have to help you with this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your router does not switch on AT ALL (NO lights)&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(If the electricity is back on, but your router won&#8217;t switch on again at all, even after a few hours, and there are NO LIGHTS displayed)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means it\u2019s probably blown due to extreme power fluctuations.
