What are Webafrica’s Peak Network Times?

If you have been subjected to a FUP (Fair Usage Policy) or if you are making use of any service on our network which specifies between “peak” and “off-peak” network times, then you are probably wondering what those times are.

On our Openserve Standard and Premium Packages:

Peak network time on the Openserve network is measured according to how many people are online. Usually, the heaviest traffic will be between 18:00 and midnight, but this is open to fluctuation.

On our RAIN Packages:

RAIN offers users additional data during off-peak times. They have set their peak times as 18:00 to 23:00, daily. Therefore the off-peak time during which you can access your additional data is from 23:00 to 18:00 the next day.

On our Telkom LTE Packages

Telkom LTE offers users additional data during off-peak times. They have set their peak times as 07:00 to 00:00, daily. Therefore the off-peak time during which you can access your Night Surfer data is from 00:00 to 06:00.

On our MTN LTE Packages

MTN LTE offers users additional data during off-peak times. They have set their peak times as 05:00 to 23:59, daily. Therefore the off-peak time during which you can access your Night Surfer data is from 00:00 to 05:00.

Please note: All Webafrica deals and packages are subject to change without notification. These include our terms and conditions as it relates to costs and deal/package structures for all of our service providers.
