Because Vuma Reach is a prepaid Fibre service, your internet depends on your 30-day payment cycle staying up to date. Here’s what happens if you miss a payment, and how to get back online.
If your payment doesn’t go through
If payment isn’t received before the end of your current 30-day cycle, your service will be suspended.
When you try to browse the internet, you’ll be redirected to a “Need to make a payment?” page instead of the website you were trying to visit. This confirms that your service has been suspended due to non-payment rather than a Fibre fault.
From this page you can:
- Log in using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Sign in with your email address or username.
- Continue with Google (if linked to your account).
- Make payment securely online.

How long do I have?
You have 60 days from the date your service is suspended to make payment.
If payment isn’t received within 60 days, your Vuma Reach service will be cancelled and you’ll need to place a new order if you’d like to reconnect.
How long until I’m reconnected?
| Payment method | Expected reconnection time |
|---|---|
| Webafrica App or online payment | Usually within a few minutes |
| EasyPay in-store payment | May take a couple of hours to reflect |
Once your payment has been processed, your service reconnects automatically.

Avoid missing future payments
Because Vuma Reach is prepaid, it’s a good idea to set yourself a reminder a few days before your 30-day cycle ends. Paying before your service expires helps you avoid any interruption.

Still stuck?
If you’ve already paid and your service hasn’t reconnected after the expected time, first check our Network Status page to rule out an outage. If there are no reported issues, contact Support and we’ll investigate.
