Vuma Reach Billing Explained

Vuma Reach is a prepaid Fibre service, so it works a little differently from our standard Fibre billing. Here’s what to expect.

How prepaid billing works

  • Vuma Reach is billed every 30 days.
  • You pay in advance to keep your service active.
  • Your service starts, or renews, as soon as your payment reflects.

Your first payment

Before your installation can be booked, you’ll need to pay one full 30-day service fee.

For example:

  • Your service is activated on 13 October.
  • Your first payment covers 13 October to 12 November.

After your service has been installed, you’ll receive a pro-rata charge for the remaining days of that month.

Using the same example:

  • Your first payment covers 13 October to 12 November.
  • On 1 November, you’ll be billed only for 13 November to 30 November.
  • From there, your ongoing billing date depends on how you pay – see below.

Your billing cycle

Once your pro-rata charge is settled, your ongoing billing date depends on your payment method:

  • Paying by card or through our online payment gateway: your recurring payment date is fixed to the 1st of each month, regardless of your original activation date.
  • Paying via EasyPay: there’s no fixed monthly date – your payment date can vary depending on when you actually make each payment.

Either way, you always pay in advance for the upcoming service period.

Invoices

Invoices are generated after a successful payment and are provided for your records. They aren’t payment reminders.

We’ll send payment reminders by email before your next payment is due, so make sure your contact details are up to date in your Customer Zone.

If you miss a payment

If payment isn’t received by your due date, your service will be suspended until payment reflects.

See “What to Do If Your Vuma Reach Service Is Suspended” for reconnection steps.
