Vuma Reach Billing Explained
Vuma Reach is a prepaid Fibre service, so you pay in advance to keep it active. You can pay automatically by card each month, or pay yourself each month online or with EasyPay in store. If a payment is missed, your service is suspended until you pay, and after 60 days without payment your order is cancelled. Debit orders aren’t available for Vuma Reach.
Vuma Reach is a prepaid Fibre service, so it works a little differently from a traditional monthly Fibre account. Here’s what to expect.
How does prepaid billing work?
- You pay in advance to keep your service active.
- Your service starts, or renews, as soon as your payment reflects.
- Debit orders aren’t available for Vuma Reach.
What is my first payment?
When you place your order, you pay for one full month upfront. You have 14 days to complete your payment through the Customer Zone. If payment isn’t received within 14 days, your order is cancelled automatically and you’ll need to place a new one.

How can I pay each month?
Automatic card payments
Your payment is collected automatically by card through PayFast, on the 1st or 16th of each month. After your first payment, a pro-rata amount for the remaining days is collected on the 1st of the following month. You don’t need to do anything, as long as the payment is successful.
Paying yourself each month
You pay for each month in advance, either:
- Online by card through PayFast, or
- In store with EasyPay at participating retailers such as Pick n Pay, Boxer and Shoprite, or any shop showing the Kazang logo.
There’s no fixed date. Your next payment is due when your current month ends. Always use your own EasyPay reference number.
How long until my service reconnects after paying?
- Card (online): up to 15 minutes
- EasyPay in store: usually a couple of hours, sometimes several
When will I get a payment reminder?
We’ll send you a reminder before your next payment is due. Make sure your contact details are up to date in the Customer Zone so you don’t miss it.
Where can I find my invoices?
Log in to the Customer Zone at my.webafrica.co.za to view and download your invoices. Invoices are for your records. They aren’t payment reminders.
What happens if I miss a payment?
If your payment isn’t received by your due date, your service is suspended until payment reflects. You have 60 days to pay and reconnect. After 60 days without payment, your order is cancelled and you’ll need to place a new one.

Can I change my package?
Yes. Log in to the Customer Zone, select your Vuma Reach service and click “Change”.
