What Happens If I Miss a Vuma Reach Payment?
If your Vuma Reach payment isn’t received by the end of your current month, your service is suspended until you pay. You have 60 days to pay and reconnect, and your service reconnects automatically once your payment reflects: up to 15 minutes for card payments, or usually a couple of hours for EasyPay in store. After 60 days without payment, your order is cancelled and you’ll need to place a new one.
Because Vuma Reach is a prepaid Fibre service, your payments need to stay up to date to keep your connection active. Here’s what happens if you miss a payment, and how to get back online.
What happens when I miss a payment?
If your payment isn’t received by the end of your current month, your Vuma Reach service is suspended.
When you try to browse the internet, you’ll be taken to a “Need to make a payment?” page instead of the website you were trying to visit. This confirms that your service is suspended because of a missed payment, not a Fibre fault. From this page you can:
- Log in using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Sign in with your email address or username.
- Continue with Google (if linked to your account).
- Make your payment securely online.
How long do I have to pay?
You have 60 days from the date your service is suspended to pay. If payment isn’t received within 60 days, your order is cancelled and you’ll need to place a new one to reconnect.
How long until I’m reconnected?
Your service reconnects automatically once your payment reflects:
- Card (online): up to 15 minutes
- EasyPay in store: usually a couple of hours, sometimes several

Paid but still not connected?
If you’ve paid and your service hasn’t reconnected after the expected time, follow the steps in Paid but Vuma Reach Still Not Connected? Here’s What to Do.
How do I avoid missing future payments?
- Choose automatic card payments, so your payment is collected each month without you having to remember.
- Paying yourself each month? Set a reminder a few days before your month ends. We’ll also send you a payment reminder before your next payment is due.
- Keep your card and contact details up to date in the Customer Zone.
